It’s my triumphant return to the interwebs! This past week has been SO busy – Mommy had rehearsals and snow day stress and her show, and I spent a lot of time with Daddy and Aunt Angela & Uncle David and Coach. I’m also *still* battling a cold from before the holidays and this weekend it escalated into a mild fever; I just felt crummy.
I have a LOT of reading and tweeting and Facebook to catch up on as life gets back to a more normal pace, but in the meantime it’s time to measure up against the BabyCenter Milestone Chart.
Mastered Skills (most kids can do)
- Uses 6 words regularly – Ummm, yes. Old news.
- Enjoys pretend games – I’m obsessed with choo-choos, and since we don’t have an actual train that counts as pretend, right?
- Likes riding toys – Definitely – and I got TWO for Christmas!
Emerging Skills (half of kids can do)
- Feeds doll – Sugarplum lives in my crib, and usually we only hang out at non-meal times, but I like to feed Henry. I’m a *really* good sharer.
- Speaks more clearly – Than what? I’m not about to win any debates, but I make myself understood… You be the judge – here’s me rooting on the Jets:
and asking Mommy to get me a snack. (Mommy’s slow.)
- Throws a ball underhand – Not really – mostly when I thro a ball it’s directly into the ground.
Advanced Skills (a few kids can do)
- Dances t0 music – I *love* to dance, and I love to drum, too!
- Sorts toys by color, shape, or size – Not even a little. I put them away when prompted, though.
- Kicks ball forward – If this is an advanced skill, I’m destined to be a soccer star because I’ve been doing this for months!
It seems like these winter colds this year just hang on and never really go away! There's always someone in my house sneezing/coughing/nose running. Fun times.
lion tiger and bear together is cute idea! thanks 🙂
So sad that you're still not feeling well!!
At least you're still rocking the milestone chart, right?!
(Probably not a great trade off on a day to day basis, but I tried!)
