#63 – 1000 Awesome Things

Bleeps

One of the best things about blogging is getting to know other mommies and babies online (and in real life). I wanted to take a moment and recognize just two of our favorite bleeps!

Suzanne

Suzanne is pretty much Mommy’s hero. Not only is she all sorts of crafty (check out this party she planned), but she had a baby LAST WEEK (Caroline Noelle – isn’t that a beautiful name for a Christmastime baby?) and is already back on her blog without missing a step. You guys? She live tweeted through the birth! That’s right, the same week that Mommy and I had the sniffles and were all whiny and skipped, like, 3 posts, Suzanne had a baby and didn’t miss a single day. WOW. She’s supersweet, too. Also, she and her family (including big brother Evan, who’s just a little older than me) live in Connecticut, so I definitely see a trip to the Norwalk Aquarium in our future!

Wendie

WeeMasonsMom, as you might know her, is, shockingly, mom to Mason, who is a little bit younger than me. She is rapidly becoming our bleep bestie. Not only does she leave thoughtful comments on nearly every single one of my posts, but we also email sometimes, and we converse on Twitter regularly. She is one of the nicest people I’ve ever “met.” Whenever Mommy or I are down, she has a sympathetic ear and encouraging words, and, ummmm, she sent me a surprise present! She really likes penguins and she sent me one of my own! She and her family live in Wisconsin which, judging from their winter weather, must be somewhere near the North Pole… so no playdates anytime soon, but if she’s ever in the NY area, we should definitely meet up!

Feel free to grab a button, ladies!

  1. Aw, Cole, thank you SO MUCH for the honor!! I'm glad you see live tweeting my birth and posting all week as a GOOD thing – I'm afraid people are starting to think I'm maybe a liiiiittle too obsessed with the internet. (They might be right!) And we would LOVE to get together sometime. Katherine (@Dear_Katherine) lives in CT too and we've been trying to plan a meet up for months.
