FRIDAY – thank goodness! This week, you guys? Ugh. Briefly: teething AGAIN. No sleep. ‘Nuf said. On a more-positive-but-still-tiring note, we went to the Renaissance Faire AND Wee Play this week, so we’re crossing things off my Summer Bucket List left and right!
I’ve had a few bits-and-pieces-but-not-full-posts floating around in my head, so here they are:

Mommy sent that tweet out after noticing a bunch of people tweeting about struggling in the airport bringing their goodies home.
A response:
We heard that you had trouble taking the Play-Doh compound on the plane home with you and would like to send a Play-Doh Duffel Bag playset to replace the one you lost. We’ll just need a physical shipping address to mail the playset to. We regret any inconvenience you experienced and hope you and your family enjoy the new Play-Doh set!
Holy customer service, Hasbro! Note: Mommy *drove* home from BlogHer, so MY PlayDoh set got home safe and sound, but that tweet wasn’t even directed to Hasbro and they responded with that generous offer within 24 hours. Wow!
On the other hand, I tweeted to Jimmy Dean and Rachael Ray directly to find out when the Twitter Gourmet segment would be airing and haven’t heard anything back…
Mommy and I love entering giveaways and contests on blogs and Twitter and we recently WON a $75 gift certificate to Hayneedle (thanks, Harmony!). It’s my *birthday* soon (!!!) (only 11 shopping days left) (just kidding) so we’re probably going to get me a present, but what? There are so many choices!

Remember how I submitted an idea for Jeremy Plays Guitar to make into a song? Guess what? That’s right! Meerkats Make Me Angry is *really* going to be a song! I was chosen for October, so I have to send Jeremy a picture for the website, so help me choose, please!
~ – ~ – ~ – ~ – ~Mommy, Daddy, Henry, and I are going on vacation! We’re headed to Ocean City, MD for a week so help me out with some planning! Aside from the beach (where we are sure to spend a bunch of time!) can you recommend any local attractions? Perhaps for if it rains? What about restaurant recs? Bonus points if they offer outdoor dining and allow dogs!
Finally, a last note on BlogHer. (A week of posts is enough, don’t you think?) Mommy tried to bring eclectic accessories to serve as conversation starters. Her supercute car purse served the purpose *very* well – nearly EVERY person she came across commented on it. Her alligator earrings, on the other hand? Earned very few comments. There goes Mommy’s dream of making millions with an alligator Etsy empire. Sigh.
