Kosher Dill

I have…eclectic taste. And? It’s ever changing. The day Mommy buys something in bulk is the day I look at her like she’s crazy for putting it in front of me (I’m looking at you, 3 family size boxes of Annie’s Organic Cheddar Bunnies – there was a sale).

Monday – Love apples, can’t stand citrus.

Tuesday, throw the apple at your head, try to climb up onto the counter to get another clementine.

It is exhausting! I go through phases where I love macaroni & cheese and broccoli, and other times where I’m ambivalent.

Teriyaki beef sticks can almost always be counted on to be a fave:

But the one thing that I’ve consistently loved from the very beginning is pickles. Specifically, garlicky, salty kosher dills. At 6 months old, I’d throw banana across the room, but fight and scream if you tried to pry pickle pieces from my fingers. Daddy made sandwiches for dinner the other night and put the pickle jar on the table – which I reached and reached for until I was rewarded with my very own spear.

And I ate almost the whole thing!

  1. Gotta love the ever changing tastes….Now I don't like pickles, but the hubs does, so we are intrigued to see what Mags take is….

  2. That is so cute!!! Cole has great taste, I'm a huge pickle fan too!

Mason has been pretty steady with his likes and dislikes, except I think we burned him out on Puffs. Oops. If we lived closer, we'd trade you a jar of pickles for some of those bunnies. Yum yum! LOL

  3. That's funny! My kid HATES pickles to the point that he has learned to open and check his cheeseburgers before eating them. If he sees a pickle he rips it right off and throws it on the floor. I don't know why he hates them – the rest of us LOVE pickles.
