Scheduled Chaos = Routine

I have a secret….
Come closer and I’ll tell you!

I hesitate to mention this on the interwebz because that might make the whole thing fall apart, but… last night? I slept through the night.

I know, exciting right?

And?

That’s not the first time! I have slept through the night every night for the past week! Shhh… don’t tell anyone!

FINALLY, at nearly 15 months of age, Mommy and I have gotten into some sort of a routine that works for us.

6:00AM – Wake up. [This part, right here? Mommy’s not the hugest fan of, but it means I get to see Daddy before he heads off to work.]

7:00AM – Breakfast/Sesame Street (Elmo= ROCK STAR.) If we’re feeling lazy, we watch Curious George, too. Mostly, though, we play with Henry, get dressed, and pack up for the day.

9:00AM – Morning Activity: This is where Mommy drags me out of the house and tries to tucker me out. We hit Music for Aardvarks, or a local meetup, story time, run errands, or (if the weather’s nice) go to one of the local playgrounds.

12:00PM – Lunch/Head home

1:00PM – Nap time? Nap time! Seriously. I’ve been napping on a semi-regular basis. (Mommy’s is crossing ALL of her crossables that this post doesn’t jinx it!)

3:00PM – Daddy comes home and Mommy runs to rehearsal. We read books, play with my toys and go on excursions to the grocery store.

6:00PM – Mommy gets back/dinner time.

8:00PM – Bedtime Routine

That’s it… Did you notice? No 3AM wake-up! Woot, woot!

So, anyway, bye – we’re headed out for a mall walk this morning. 🙂

My 15 month old sometimes likes to surprise me with the 3 am wake up and she also wakes up around 6.
