What makes this week different from all other weeks? (<-- That's a little Passover reference for my non-Jewish readers.)
This week is Daddy’s spring break vacation from school, and we will be *very* busy having fun adventures – I’m not sure I will have time to post. Never fear, however, I have lined up some amazing guest posters for the week. This is not just Mommy filling in; these are BIG names, people! I’m SO excited to welcome them to the blog, so here’s the line-up:
- Monday: Hudson from This is the First Day of my Life
- Tuesday: Phoenix from The Lame Sauce
- Wednesday: Hailey from Farber Family Adventures
- Thursday: Dara from A Very Good Coat Rack
- Friday: Harrison from Heir to Blair
- Saturday: Brody from Pawcurious
Exciting, right?! I can relax on vacation, leaving my blog in such competent hands.
A few notes before I go:
Chag Sameach! (Happy Holidays in Jew-speak) We are hosting our very first seder on Monday night and Mommy has been running around like a crazy person cleaning house and breaking out the fine china.
Also, Happy Easter! I am Jewish, but both Mommy and Daddy grew up in multi-religious households and Mommy sees dyed-for-Easter eggs on our Passover seder dish in future years; also, in December, look for a menorah in the kitchen and a tree (with Jewish star and dreidel ornaments!) in the living room.
I received my very first Easter basket already, in fact, from Pam @ The Busy Woman’s Guide to Surviving Motherhood. The best part of my new Easter basket (aside from those Reese’s cups that I’d be dying to break into if 1. they were real and 2. I was allowed chocolate… or peanut butter)? It’s raising money for a good cause! For every post in the Easter basket blog hop between March 18 and April 4, Hershey’s will donate $10 to the Children’s Miracle Network! Even better? I can pass it along! I am officially giving Easter baskets to ALL of my readers! Even you! Right there! I know you’re Jewish, but the Easter bunny? Non-discriminatory! If you have a blog and are willing to pass this along, the directions are below.
Finally, PLEASE don’t stop voting for me just because I am on vacation! I will be *very* sad to come back and find that I have slipped off the front page @ Top Baby Blogs. Especially since most of them over there are cheating! They’re all really Mommy or Daddy blogs… All you have to do is click this button: Easy peasy! There’s also a button on the top of my right sidebar that you can click every day!
Here are the Children’s Miracle Network Easter Basket directions:
