Sigh. Apparently we are working on a bit of a summer posting schedule around here – trying to sell the condo means trying to keep is somewhat neat and tidy… which is a challenge with Cole and I around! The next few weeks show no signs of letting up especially with Cole’s birthday party and our beach vacation coming up. I know we have about 7 loyal readers, so I don’t want to disappoint and skip our recap – here are the past TWO weeks… The problem with going back that far, though, is that we can’t even remember what we did, so here’s my best effort.
Sunday
Last Sunday, we went over to Max and Sarah’s house to celebrate Sarah’s second birthday. It kind of blows Mommy’s mind that Sarah, who is only a little bit older than me, is TWO already!
Monday
I woke up early on Monday and practiced my “say cheese” face.
Tuesday
We went to the pool for the day and then I came home and fell asleep in my chicken nuggets.
Wednesday
More sleeping. Summer is exciting, you guys – and I fight napping with every fiber of my being.
Thursday
On Thursday, we visited with Aunt Angela and Cole must have been distracted or something, because I got to drive Lightning McQueen!
Friday
On Friday, we went to the beach, and Cole continually foiled Mommy’s attempts at a cute sibling photo.
We were building a trap. I don’t know what for, but Cole let me help.
We made sand angels as part of our plan to get as much beach in our bathing suits as humanly possible.
Beach yoga!
The beach is SUPER fun and SUPER exhausting.
Saturday
We hit up Whole Foods, and Cole helped Daddy do some grocery shopping.
French fries from Bobby’s Burger Palace!
I made Daddy read me Are You My Mother” for approximately the 7,364th time.
Cole must still have been tuckered from the beach – and from Saturday morning t-ball – because he took an EPIC couch nap.
Are you ready for bonus week 2?!
Sunday
We had a really nice picnic at the pool on Sunday with a family friend.
Apparently, it was floppy hat day!
Monday
I was up all night on Saturday and Sunday, so Mommy dragged me off to see Dr. Andy figuring I *must* have an ear infection or something to be causing such crankiness. He said my ears were perfect, so she figures it was some sort of temporary possession by a demon bat or something,
Tuesday
I don’t remember what we did all day on Tuesday, but it looks like we slept in…
Wednesday
Cole let me wear his super hero cape.
Mommy is a super creepy stalker who takes way too many pictures of us sleeping.
Thursday
We split up to run errands on Thursday – Mommy’s sunglasses were swept away in the ocean on Saturday, so we headed to JC Penney to get new ones.
Cole and Daddy went to Barnes & Noble, where Cole was SUPER excited to see a new train table!
The lady in Old Navy gave me a balloon, which I *loved* for the 5 minutes before it popped.
Friday
We had a crazy great day on Friday – starting with a super fun play date. This pic was taken 3.2 seconds before I fell right off the swing-saw, but don’t worry, I was okay!
In the evening, Mommy and Daddy ditched me at Coach’s house and took Cole to the Legends of Chima event at Legoland Discovery Center Westchester. This is not the best photo – obviously it’s crazy blurry – but look at how excited Cole was about the Scavenger Hunt in Miniland!
He also liked the model of Laval.
And building cars to race on the test track.
Afterwards, Mommy wandered around Ridge Hill in search of the perfect maxi dress. This wasn’t it.
Saturday
While Cole and Mommy were at t-ball Saturday morning, Daddy and I dined al fresco.
We went to a birthday party in the afternoon – Cole was pretty excited to meet A, who loves super heros and dinosaurs just like him!
It was a pool party!
Saturday evening we went to a Boulders game. Cole went down to a group of boys 2 rows in front of us and joined them!
I went over to see him and he turned around and said, “Not now, Baby, I’m watching the game.” !!!
Is anyone still with me? Did you make it to the end? Hi, Grammy Boo! I’m hopiing to get back on track because we really do have a few posts that are waiting to be published – but no promises. It’s summer!

Seriously you guys do the best stuff!!! I love these posts
Love you! You make me feel like a rock star.
