Busy, Busy, Busy

Did you guys miss me on Friday? I feel like I’ve been running around non-stop!

A quick recap of the past few days:

Thursday was Mommy’s birthday. {Daddy and I totally got her the best present EVER. ::cough, cough:: iPad ::cough, cough:: } It was a really rainy and yucky day, so we did not get to go outside and play at all – I was pretty cranky by the time Coach came over to hang out with me while Mommy got ready to go out with one of her friends. I finally got all settled down, only to get cranky AGAIN when Grandma came over for our Thursday night date. Luckily, Grandma is used to our date night now and she brought all of my favorite books to read.

Friday was a MARATHON. First, we got up early and went into Mommy’s school to put up the cast list. This is Mommy’s least favorite part of the production and she’d happily outsource it and just start with rehearsals if anyone would like to volunteer for the job! I *love* going to Mommy’s school anytime, though, and I ran up and down the halls and flirted with all my favorite 8th grade ladies. I tried to impress them by doing a flying somersault off the bima while Mommy was giving her presentation, but I need to work on my landing – it was a little embarassing.

After school, we headed over to the mall, where Mommy scored a free pair of jeans! Then we headed over to Coach and Grammy Boo’s house to do some laundry; we put the first load in and Coach shared some of his leftover beef stew with me for lunch – yum!

While the laundry was launderizing, we headed over to the JCC for a fun Tot Shabbat group – Jeffrey Friedberg led a sing along, we lit candles, and then we had challah and grape juice. [Note: For a toddler group, *white* grape juice is a better choice.] After we finished up, we went back to Coach and Grammy’s to switch the laundry and put in a new load (really, you guys, I was in my LAST clean clothes) and then zipped over to Cousin Amy’s house to help her with some math – she took the SAT’s on Saturday.

By the time we worked through a few math concepts, it was time to head back to Coach and Grammy’s AGAIN to fold all of my clothes and get them to bring home. Luckily, Coach offered to make dinner and Daddy met us over there.

We had yummy sausage and broccoli with ziti (and lots of garlic!) and then *finally* went home for my bedtime routine. Whew!

Saturday and Sunday, Daddy had a TON of work to do, so Mommy and I got out of the house to give him a chance to concentrate. This weekend we went walking with Grammy Boo, hit B.J.’s AND Costco (it’s totally normal to go to two warehouse clubs in two days, right?), and finished up most of our holiday shopping at TWO holiday crafts boutiques. We even had dinner at Uncle David’s and Aunt Angela’s! I may or may not have hit my limit at that point, though, and had a screaming fit on their living room floor. We will probably not be invited back over there very soon.

I also totally ROCKED my penguin hat:
