So Long, Summer!

I know, I know, summer is not *technically* over for a while, but Daddy has gone back to school and Mommy has had her first pumpkin spice latte, so, in our house at least, fall is here. Mommy set up a Pinterest board with summer field trip ideas, so I figured I’d check in and revisit some of the great adventures we’ve been on in the last few months – we definitely didn’t get to everything, but we did a lot!

Bronx Zoo – 6/19

Rye Playland – 7/12

New York Aquarium – 8/13

LinkThis is not the aquarium, but after we visited the sea creatures, we walked the Coney Island boardwalk and went on a few rides…

Dutchess County Fair – 8/23
Robert Moses Beach – 8/24 {We went another day, too, but we don’t remember the date}
In between, we’ve done our regular Music For Aardvarks/library story time circuit, gone to Disney World, rooted for the home team at Citifield, shared some big news, had my Mickey birthday party, rode horses at Rocking Horse Ranch, and picked fruit at Dubois Farms. Whew! No wonder Mommy looks so tired!

I’m ready for some fall festivities – but I will miss the pool…
