ANOTHER crazy week around here! Mommy keeps looking at our calendar and thinking “wow, the next month or so is crazy, but it should settle down after that,” but you know what? It never settles down! Our schedule is perpetually full, and even on weeks where we seem to have nothing to do, there is always something… or 12 things. How is it that we are always doing nothing and yet we never have time for laundry? Hmmmmm…
Sunday was Cole’s birthday party, and we’ve already shared tons of pics of that, so you should go check those out…
This is Cole sitting on top of Henry because Henry happened to be where Cole wanted to sit.
I used a popcorn bucket from Cole’s party as a hat.
Mommy had a meeting at school, so we went over and had lunch with Coach.
And a couch nap.
Wednesday was a fail – no pictures, and we can’t even remember what we did! Judging by the look of our house, we can rule out cleaning, but no idea what we accomplished.
On Thursday, we headed into the city to see Betsy.
Cole was super excited to take the train in, but was uncooperative for pictures.
Admiring the bones at the American Museum of Natural History.
Well, this is a good picture of Daddy, anyway.
Cole and I sat together to watch a movie about sea life.
Mommy is kind of a rock star sometimes.
On Friday, we had no other plans, so Mommy suggested a walk around Rockland Lake. Daddy added a trip to our new Smashburger for lunch first.
And then he and Cole went to Starbucks for an afternoon snack!
Saturday was the last day of t-ball for the summer. You mean all MLB coaches don’t wear babies during the games?
Squinting directly into the sun isn’t anyone’s best look. They gave Mommy a plaque for coaching, and they gave Cole 2 medals, and he gave one to me!
