Disney – A Few of My Favorite Rides

Disney does things right. Seriously, *everything* there is fun and magical and I had such an amazing time – I’m having a bit of trouble adjusting back to life without animatronic elephants!

We only had 2 days in the parks, but we packed our time with SO much! Tuesday morning, we headed straight to Fantasyland, stopping for a quick ride on the Buzz Lightyear Spin in Tomorrowland. And, you guys? Buzz was there!

In Fantasyland, we went on almost everything: “it’s a small world,” Peter Pan’s Flight, Dumbo the Flying Elephant, and The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh. They were all pretty great, but Dumbo and Small World were my hands down favorites. As soon as we got into Dumbo, I grabbed the joystick and took control of our flight! I was kind of mad that the demo elephant for photos didn’t fly.

We also went to see Mickey’s Philharmagic, which I did NOT like. Spoiler Alert: Donald steals Mickey’s special magician hat and I was *very* upset. I spent most of the 17 minute film yelling “Hat! BACK!” and crying. Luckily, the purloined head gear WAS returned in the end, but I was not a happy camper – which pretty much meant it was nap time.

On Wednesday, we spent most of our time in Adventureland and Frontierland. We went on Jungle Cruise and Pirates of the Caribbean before seeing the Country Bear Jamboree. Then we went back for another ride on “it’s a small world” (LOVE) and then we went on the Scenic Railroad before meeting Mickey and Minnie in Town Hall.

It rained a little.

I love choo choo trains!

Mickey and Minnie are my new BFFs.
