So, here we are a week into June and I’ve been mostly MIA – seriously, you guys? Our June calendar is one big explosion of barbecues and family get togethers and playdates – and, on top of that, it is so hot that I’m too tired at the end of the day to blog.
This weekend, for example? On Saturday, we started out at Grammy Boo and Coach’s house visiting with my cousins. Grace and Elizabeth are about 2 months younger than me and we had a great time playing together. Plus? Aunt Deb brought cupcakes and I? am a fan of any sort of cake products.
I had to take a break from all the excitement.After that, we went home and Grandma and Grandpa came over to hang out while Mommy and Daddy went to a birthday party.
On Sunday, Dr. Andy had a Patient Picnic, which was a lot of fun, and then Aunt Debbie and Grammy Boo and Coach came over and watched Toy Story with me because Mommy and Daddy were at Grandma and Grandpa’s surprise 40th anniversary dinner!
And, you know, with all of that, there were still things on our calendar that we skipped because it was too much in one weekend – and pretty much ALL of our June weekends look like that! This is a crazy month of the year around here.
Well, crazy busy is better than stuck in the house because it's snowing, RIGHT?!!?
