Mommy says this game will end in a concussion.

Yesterday, I finally went sledding – and had a great time! I had so much fun, in fact, that I lugged my sled into the kitchen last night and tried to make it go on the linoleum…

Today, though, it’s snowing. AGAIN. (Seriously? We get it. It’s winter. Enough already!) That means that Mommy and I are stuck inside. AGAIN.

Actually, it doesn’t bother me all that much – I made up a fun new game! Like all of my favorite games, Mommy doesn’t seem to like it that much… Originally, I tried climbing up on the coffee table and waiting for Mommy to come get me, whereupon I used her arms as a swing and jumped down. *I* thought that was hysterical, but Mommy said something about “not encouraging that” and started just leaving me stranded in the middle of the table. I was not a huge fan of that (I stood there yelling, “Oh, no!”), but I quickly figured out I didn’t need Mommy at all.

Why, yes, that IS a pile of DVDs on the floor from when I knocked them off the shelf earlier. And, OF COURSE, our New Year’s Eve banner is still up in the background. But did you also see my own Cole-sized rocking chair from Uncle David & Aunt Angela? No, you were all focused on the negatives and Mommy’s bad housekeeping. Shame on you!

Anyway, I just climb up, scoot across, and jump down on my own – and THEN run back to do it again. You can tell I *know* that Mommy doesn’t approve because I say “no, no, no,” the whole time.

Also? I should listen to Mommy…

I’m fine. I’m FINE. Put down the phone, no need to call the authorities; I got up, rubbed the back of my head, and ran around to climb up again. Mommy wouldn’t let me. She is no fun at all.

Sigh. It is BORING playing inside all the time – who wants to help me check out my ice skates?!

  1. It's all fun and games until someone pokes someone else in the eye. 🙂

  2. Oh my gosh, the sledding pictures? SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO cute!!!

Mason has that same outfit!! His is still too big for him though!

I love the use of his head (literally) for getting up on the table! And I have to admit that the final video made me chuckle. Of course only because I knew he was all right! LOL
