#70 – 1000 Awesome Things

Personal Days

I don’t have a job yet, so no personal days for me, but Daddy stayed home from work yesterday to play! He’s been wanting to come with us to check out Music for Aardvarks for awhile, and yesterday we had Trunk ‘n Treat in the afternoon, so it was a great chance.

The first stop on our day o’ fun was Music for Aardvarks with Max and Michele.

After a stop for yummy lunch at the Art Cafe, we hit our favorite playground, where we got to go on the big-boy slide!

After heading home and not-napping, we went back out for some Trunk n’ Treat fun. The local Mommies group hosts an annual Halloween event, where you decorate the trunk of your car and then trick or treat. Fun! This was our first year, though, so Mommy will full on admit to our car being totally lame. In the midst of cars with elaborate Halloween decorations and blinking lights, poor Jane sported only an orange tablecloth and a leaf garland.

Our goodie bags were pretty great though – there were bubbles, a mini coloring book & crayons, and a bat ring in there!

A extra bonus to Trunk n’ Treat was that it held in a park that we had never been to before and we discovered an AWESOME new playground – we had a great time! AND Mommy took a million pictures, or course – you can see more of them on Friday if you stop back here for my Virtual Halloween Parade.

How’s THAT for a totally awesome way to spend a Monday?
