Weekend, Unplugged

Daddy has been going up to the Woodlands every summer for about ten years, and this year I got to join him!

We headed to the house in the Catskills on Friday afternoon and spent the weekend hanging out with friends, swimming in the pool, making s’mores over the bonfire, and discovering a yummy bakery *just* across the street – all without cell reception or internet connection. Oh! And you know what they had? STAIRS! We went up! and down! All. Morning.

Mommy was a little nervous about sharing a room with me and Henry, but we all did much better than she expected – I even snuggled in Mommy and Daddy’s bed and slept in one morning (until 7AM!)

We relaxed, and relaxed, and relaxed – and have no pictures or videos to show for it. We do, however, have a butter cake if you’d like to share. We’re not even positive what it is, but butter. cake. Seriously? How can you go wrong?

How was your weekend?
